New Mercedes-Benz Dealership in Doylestown Update

This Fall, our Keenan Motors Mercedes-Benz dealership will adopt a new home off Easton Road. Crafted with chrome infused, industrial innovation, the contemporary building will host a new showroom, service drive-thru, shop, parts department, and even an automatic car wash!

With all of the walls built and roofing intact, the construction site is clearly progressing quite quickly. Since our last update early this past June, all of the walls have been completely framed. Not to mention, the drywall installation is nearly complete. A portion of the parking area has been prepped around the building, with stone placed and some Belgian block borders added.

The future Keenan Motors Mercedes-Benz dealership’s interior is flourishing with development as well. Glass installation is finishing up in the showroom, service drive-thru, and employee offices. Plus, as reflected in the June report, all of the flooring concrete has been poured. Now, tiling in the shop has begun and the showroom will begin in the near future.

The shop especially has experienced a considerable amount of progress; the interior piping for the shop is approaching its final stages. And, as our report from early June reflects, the in-ground portion of the shop lifts have been installed. Since that last report, in addition, two large circulating fans have been installed in the shop. This will allow for air circulation and year-round temperature regulation.

Beyond the installation of all components that make for a good-old classic shop, Keenan Motors is introducing a change with its relocation: an automatic car wash. Equipment for the wash is scheduled to arrive in a matter of days. Furthermore, a synthetic panel covering for the wash bay walls has already been installed. Perhaps most excitingly, 85% of the water used in the wash will be recycled from rainwater captured on the building’s roof. Essentially, by gathering, storing, filtering, and then using rainwater in our wash, the automatic car wash will practice water consumption management and conservation to reduce the strain upon our region’s waste management treatment system.

The behind-the-scenes workings of the building have grown as well. More specifically, the electrical/phone/I.T. system wiring that had been merely “under way” as of early June is now nearly finished. Likewise, the fresh and waste oil piping system for the shop has progressed. The same is true of the below-ground drainage system and inlet grates, which facilitate in stormwater management.

The new Keenan Motors Mercedes-Benz building’s sleek style will capitalize on the luxury star’s ever-present edge, class, and sophistication. To join us in our journey along the way, look out for more periodic updates.
